  For great beer, this is an absolute gem. They maintain around 8 different styles on tap and they've nailed each and every one. The stout was solid, rich, and dark with some great smokiness. The IPA was spectacularly balanced, bright, and lively. They also have a sour on the list, which you don't always see, but is a great option to round out the list with something different. Coast Mountain is run by husband and wife team, with the husband as head brewer. They are there most of the time, which means you've always got someone knowledgeable there to answer questions and guide you through the brews. The style of the place is mountain to the core. Heavy pine tables and bar, rustic driftwood detailing, and the flickering flame of a warm fire. Seems to be quickly becoming a hot spot for Whistler locals.

  Had a fantastic experience drinking so tasty and creative beers and chatting with the owner/brewmaster. Fantastic brewery that is focused on creating great beer, not uniformity. Highly highly recommend.
