  Really nice food. Fresh & delicious. Atmosphere & decor is good/modern. Staff happy to accommodate food intolerances. Definitely recommend this. Base price is $27 for 3 courses - larger meals add around $9. Drinks about $15 for a glass of wine & about half that for beer.

  We had and amazing afternoon at Basalt. After a hard day on the mountain we landed on their fireside patio and we knew we had found a special place. The staff were so friendly , the food was incredible and the wine list was full of great BC wines.
  We started with fondue, added a charcuterie platter and then ended up sticking around for dinner. We honestly didn't want to leave!
  Wish we'd discovered it earlier in our trip, but we will be back!

  Great food with matching service. Their entrees are quite large, so if you are not so hungry, that might suffice. Make sure you ask about the size. We had the mushroom soup and mussels, both incredibly well done. As main, we went for the veal and the pacific cod. The taste was delicious and presentation was very detailed. The wine carte was also impressive, with great local options and affordable prices. Would definitely return again.

  Who what a deal and the food was fantasic. The chicken liver was to die for and the duck legs were fantasic! Great deal for a top notch three courses meal. I highly recommend.
